Tayrona National Park
Raw natural costal beauty
It is no secret that Tayrona National Park is among the must see places in all of Colombia for tourists and locals alike. Take some time to hike to Cabo San Juan or take a horse ride in and enjoy some of the most virgin beaches in all of Colombia. Feel free to stay a night in a tent or hammock or return the same day to Finca Carpe Diem, which is easily doable. It only takes roughly one hour from Carpe Diem to reach the main entrance of Tayrona.
For hikers we recommend to enter the park in Calabazzo, and from their hike up to the ancient Tayrona town of Pueblito, continuing to Cabo san Juan and La Piscina, passing Arrecifes and back to the main entrance. You only need one day to do this and you would have seen the most important places of the Tayrona park. Please feel free to ask more information upon arrival in Carpe Diem.
